Neowin has been kind enough to post a video they recorded at WinHEC 2004 of Half Life 2 being demo’d. It also comes with an assurance from Gabe Newell from Valve software that the long awaited follow up to Half Life will be ready for a Summer 2004 release. ‘Newell also stated that the game looks set to run better on ATI’s X800 rather than on Nvidia’s upcoming 6800 GPU.
As far as I know we are the only guys that noticed the fact that Half Life 2 was demo’d at WinHEC 2004 and the only ones to record the whole thing, although the actual footage is old it certainly looks awesome on the X800.
