Intel Intros 548 Mobile Pentium 4

Chip firm Intel said it has released the 548 mobile Pentium 4 chip – a 3.33GHz processor aimed at the desktop replacement notebook market.

The chip supports hyperthreading, has 1MB of level two cache and is built on a 90 nanometre process. Its price, when bought in volume, is $262.
