Legit Reviews examines the new LGA775 platform and uncovers some unsuspected DD2 Performance!

Using the ABIT AA8-DuraMax mobo & a Corsair HydroCool 200ex Water Cooler Legit Reviews was able to clock the Abit mobo upwards of a FSB270!

No FSB OC lock here it seems!

Don’t forget that DDR533 requires a 3:4 divider. So keep the 3:4 divider and at 250MHz you will be running 667MHz. Think of 3:4 as the new memory divider to have and use all the time for DDR2…

Here are some Super Pi 1.1E numbers for you at 722MHz DDR:

1M: 34secs (default Intel 560 & 533MHz = 36secs)
2M: 1min 19sec (default = 1min 25secs)
4M: 2min 51sec (default = 3min 3secs)

…………

With the FSB at 270MHz and a multiplyer of 14 we found this on SuperPi to 4M places:

270FSB w/DDR 540MHz: 2min 55sec
270FSB w/DDR 720MHz: 2min 51sec
