An Aussie man who published what police call a terrorism handbook on the Interweb is the first to be charged under the country’s new anti-terror laws.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Khazal is first person to be charged with the offence since the introduction of Commonwealth counterterrorism legislation in 2002. Police have seized documents and Khazal’s hard drive during a search of his Sydney home. Among the documents was a book with the title ‘Provisions In The Rules of Jihad – Short Wise Rules and Organisational Instructions Which Is The Concern of Every Fighter and Mujahid Against the Infidels’.
