[i]AnandTech[/i] thinks they have nailed down retail availability dates for [b]ATI[/b] and [b]NVIDIA[/b]'s next-generation graphics parts.
[blockquote]R420 will apparently be available as the Radeon X800 Pro as early as April 26, which is right around when NV40 is expected on shelves as the GeForce 6800. The Radeon X800 Pro will reportedly be followed by a Radeon X800 XT as early as May 31, suggesting that ATI may not be altogether confident that the X800 can hold the graphics performance crown without a quick refresh. Of course, NVIDIA may have a GeForce 6800 Ultra waiting in the wings, too.
