   I watched G4TV about as much as I watched TechTV, both have like 2 good shows. Fresh Gear is nice, and so is TechLive, and screensavers is a good time killer if you want, but G4TV.com was good with that hot chick for a host, and I can't remember the other shows, like cimematech. Yeah.
   
   Anyways, yeah, I think me and my friends like it better now in HOPE that they get rid of the bull**** programs

   Well, it's pretty good for me, since I've got DirecTV. I used to watch both on Comcast before we switched, and until now, I've just missed out on G4.

I used to watch TechTV a bunch, but honestly, both are channels for computer newbs anyway, some of it was entertaining but I certainly wouldn't call TechTV a channel for "seasoned veterans of technology" and anybody who's part of the "cult following" of (whom I'm assuming they're referring to) Leo Laporte, well they just lead a sad, sad exisitence anyway

   18 Jun 2004 ~ 3:35am KingFish I liked TechTV quite a bit. I thought they had the right mix of shows that appealed to both new people and those familiar with the scene. I'm not familiar with G4 but I'd say firing the entire staff of TechTV and taking off the archives is definitely bad PR for good reason. I like Leo Laporte and hate to see him depart. Dunno about the cult following thing. I think that the way G4 is gutting TechTV it only leaves an opening for a new show to rise up with TechTV's formula and upend G4.

    Anyhow, since TechTV is going down the tubes, I suppose I have no real push to get digital cable anymore (that's the only way you can get it in my area). Their loss.

    i agree on the olsen twins though. their faces look way too big for their body. they look like those freak looking people from that fantasy flock, i think it was labyrinth, can't remember the name.
