   I just need to spend some time around exorbitant amounts of 512k DSL, and Canadian television programming! I'd be all set!
   
   (No, but in all honesty, I was speaking with a person who works for Pipex and he was saying that a few years ago the BBC was attempting to throw its weight around against large broadband ISPs, because it would shovel users wholesale away from the TV.)

   Well the BBC has a different boss now, thanks to Lord Hutton. But BT and BT reliant ISP's are two completely different things with regard to the way they sway (if you know what I mean) and it certainly isn't ISP's that are working against ADSL roll-out at the moment. It's BT themselves. In fact I don't think BT could have worked any harder over the last couple of years to hamper the roll-out of ADSL in this Kingdom. BBC dictated or not.
   
   They are without a doubt, the most inept (on purpose no doubt) telecom organisation in the UK today. The problem is, they also just happen to be the largest.
