    26 Apr 2004 ~ 1:00am KingFish I couldn't imagine a mainstream gaming card topping 400 bucks two years ago but it certainly happened and then some. I can't wait to see more concrete benchmarks, especially ones put on by an unbiased third party that pits the best from each manufacturer and lets 'em rip. I see a lot of speculation with this round of video card wars and the same old "manufacturer x is cheating" crap. It's cliche` at best and oh so very old by now. I still like to stick in the sweet spot of around 200-250 bucks and get the most for my money. I eagerly await releases of the next generation from each side and will make a decision when the dust and benchmarks settle.

    Remember when Two Monster 3D SLI cards were $600 ($300 each)....
