31 May 2004 ~ 8:22am Gobbles Like 2003, 2004 is well lame. Here is what I mean..

I just payed 40 dollars for this game, I load it, it takes a massive 5gig of space, I config it and connect to the net and pull up some games, pings for most of the servers are over 100ms more than half the servers out there are empty and those that are populated are high ping because of the noob voice chatters who think that its a friggin chat room. I pull the list for bombing run.. my fav game and there are 15 servers alll with 150ping or higher, and most are empty. I am really disappointed. So I blew 40 on a game im not gonna play. I should of gotten BFv. I just went back to Enemy Territory which I downloaded for free, Takes 1 tenth the disk space, and the servers are plentiful and low ping and full of people when ever I feel like playing.

UT2k4 feels like a dead game already.

If you are planning to purchase this game... DONT its a waste of cash. Go buy something else.

Well I haven't had chance to play it online yet, so I can't comment on that. I do however share the sentiment that 2003 was a bit lame. But for me 2004 seems to have captured the original's feel a bit better. I like 2004 very much. But that's just me.

31 May 2004 ~ 4:46pm Cyclonite 2003 was lame. I absolutely love 2004. I play it nearly every day if I get a chance. I find many open servers. Make sure you have standard servers unchecked.
