Centrino gets an extreme makeover: Intel today launched seven new Pentium M processors with speeds up to 2.13 GHz, three mobile PCI Express chipsets, faster graphics and updated Wi-Fi chips.
At the core of Intel’s announcement is the mobile 915 chipset family, formerly code-named Alviso. The series is available as simple 915 PM as well as 915 GM and GMS that integrate the GMA900 graphics accelerator.
