New Call of duty trailer released

New Call of duty trailer released

It’s a chunky 52mb but it’s 6 minutes of footage. This quicktime (mov) movie gives a full view of what to expect from developer Infinity Wards follow up to the original Call of Duty. This footage highlights the new “battle chatter” system integrated into the new engine developed especially for the game.
Call of Duty 2 has around 10 times the VO content of the original. Much of this content is in our new battle chatter system, which gives each and every soldier (allied and axis!) around 800-1000 lines of vocabulary. The battlefield is now alive with the voices of your squad mates and enemies reacting to the dynamically unfolding action. You will often hear soldiers giving orders, pointing out threats, calling for help, coordinating maneuvers – even more unnerving, you can hear the enemy doing the same in their own language!
Looks nice and intense 😀

primesuspect I wonder what it is about WW2 that is so..... repeatable....
  3. Spinner
Spinner Repeated or not, I loved the first Call of Duty, it had a certain quality that distinguished it from other popular WWII shooters. COD2 looks simply amazing; the question is, when it's released, will we all have good enough graphics cards to make it look like it did in the trailer.

Enverex One thing I loved about Operation Flashpoint was all the radio chatter... maybe this is worth a try...

pseudonym I really liked the original, hopefully this is good.

I want another Op Flashpoint though. I thought that game was GREAT. Heck, I'd love a less buggy version.

Madball The theme may be overused, but I'll stil play it. Does anyone know if what game engine it uses? COD used the Quake3 engine. But this one looks a little more advanced than that engine could handle.
  8. Shorty
Shorty It's a proprietary engine created for the game by Infinity Ward themselves :)
