Poll: U.S. women love iPod, hate Xbox

Physorg is reporting on a recent survey by Women’s Wall Street that aimed to find out which electronic devices women favored, and which devices women disliked.

Apple’s ubiquitous iPod was considered the hottest item on the market by 25 percent of the respondents. It was followed by high-definition television, GPS navigation devices and TiVo.

Thumbs were turned down on the Xbox and similar game terminals when it came to devices owned by boyfriends or husbands. The man’s personal computer was not far behind.

Thrax In other news, Women's Wall Street has confirmed an age-old adage: People hate what they do not understand.

10/1 says they never even ****ing tried the PC or the XBoX.

The way I read this, the complaint seems to be more directed towards their inattentive boyfriend/husband.

Guys, put the games away once in a while and take her out on the town.

tmh88 Well, i must admit i was caught in the frenzy of halo 2 for xbox. I would play every day for like 3 hours, but it was one of the best times ever because just about every single person from my whole school had xbox live. So i'd be playing with tons of people i knew, not just random people....Anyway you guys are going to hate this.

There are "professional" halo 2 players that make up to $80,000 a year. Imagine that, being in highschool/college/whatever (mostly highschoolers), getting that much money, traveling across america for free, all for playing videogames. Yea you'd probably be the biggest dork in the world, but still $80,000 for playing videogames. the world isnt fair :bawling:

What is wrong with the woman taking the guy out for once? Why does he always need to be interested in her, can't she be interested in him for once and try to be the one to make the ball roll?

EMT I went looking for the original source and I think it's just a webpoll? With limited preset choices... Doesn't make this seem newsworthy.

Enverex Yeah, bottom of the page (took me a while to find it); http://www.womenswallstreet.com/tools_resources/quizzes_surveys/index.aspx
