If you have a hankering for old-school arcade games, or are young enough to have missed them the first time around, Xbox 360’s Live Arcade has a retro solution heading your way.
Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade service has been surprisingly successful, and the company is hoping that success will continue with its planned release of additional versions of popular 1980s-era games like the log-hopping, traffic-dodging classic, Frogger.

The company will offer a game every Wednesday for the next five weeks, including some retrogames with higher-end graphics and new ways to play together. The first game on offer is the log-hopping, traffic-dodging classic, Frogger.
With free trials and a purchase price of $5 to $15, I would imagine that these games will prove quite popular. It may even be enough to get an old geezer such as myself to consider making my first console purchase since my daughter was a kid.
