It seems that most of the upcoming games and a few games on the market already are going to need the new DirectX 9.0C update. Most of these games have the update already built into the installer but the online demo’s lack the needed update..
The games with issues in question the IP-logging spyware-burdened Battlefield 2142 and the latest and greatest from the adventure genre – Broken Sword: The Angel of Death, both of which are solvable in only a couple of minutes.
