A team of hackers have found a way to get burned Xbox 360 games to work. They say they will not release how they did it to the public.

It was bound to happen sooner or later, a team of hackers lead by “TheSpecialist” have cracked the 360’s DVD drive firmware which allowed them to run a backup of Project Gotham Racing 3. Unfortunately, the modified firmware will not be publicly released for download. Video clip after the jump.

    20 Mar 2006 ~ 6:42pm tmh88 they cant yet because its just a dvd firmware hack. They have to figure out other ways to do it. Otherwise it would require desoldering some chips off of the dvd drive. i read about it on xbox-scene
