AOL sez they fixed a serious security hole in its AIM client, security expert sez they didn’t. Now would be a good time to investigate an alternative client if you’re (the one) still using AOL’s client.

    29 Sep 2007 ~ 7:53am Hawk I'll second that Enverex--- Pidgin will run all IM services including IRC.
    For others not on windows there's Adium which will run all IM services also IRC.
    I used Gaim for yrs and now it's new project name is Pidgin!

    Another good one that runs IRC too.
