Ultra m998 case

Ultra m998 case

Innovation in computer cases is seldom seen, but the Ultra m998 features a rad wiring setup.

lemonlime The 'power bar' feature is actually quite nifty. I've never been a big fan of Ultra's products, but this one is a step in the right direction. I like the black interior of the case as well. I agree with the reviewer though, the front bezel looks a lill' cheap.

BuddyJ When they strip it down to the bare frame, it looks like the case would make a good basis for a modding/custom project. Build your own bezels and it'd be a winner.

fatcat Any case that does not have a top mounted exhaust fan, no matter how sweet everywhere else, = teh fail! I used to mod cases all the time a few years back, steel ones, plastic, aluminum etc, and I always put a top mounted exhaust fan. Hell I even own a 120mm hole-saw just for this purpose ;)

This is why the Antec 900 is still the best case on the market stock wise. It includes a 200mm top mounted exhaust fan that has a low/med/high speed control. This is why so many people recommend the 900. It just wins against other cases for keeping your components cool.
4. Thrax
Thrax Bingo. No case on the market (for reasonable prices) has better cooling than the 900. No case even comes close.
5. BuddyJ
BuddyJ The 900 is a giant mesh dust magnet that looks retarded. Cooling is great, but I'll sacrifice some for something that doesn't blind you with LEDs.
6. Thrax
Thrax The LEDs can easily be turned off with a snip of a wire or two. Very easy on those fans, and as an owner of 6 cats, it is the best case I have ever owned at not collecting dust/hair inside.

I agree. I know the Antec 900 is an excellent case as far as function is concerned, but I haven't been able to get past the appearance. I've been spoiled with the classy Lian-Li designs, I suppose :)
