What we know now

What have the RIAA lawsuits accomplished? A lot more people know how and where to pirate.

Linc That article is spot-on. I don't pirate movies, software, or music anymore, but all this RIAA lawsuit news sure has clued me in on about 10 ways I could effectively pirate anything I want, and I never considered myself in-the-know on that kind of stuff at all since Napster and Kazaa.

Hawk Same here Keebs. Used Napster yrs ago. Basically for a few 60's songs.
If we want something these days we just go buy it.
We've always bought our movies. We have some 150+ on vcr tape and around 200 DVD's now. We need to convert our vcr tapes to dvd and that will pretty much double our collection.
Never did DL movies or software. Always was afraid of getting virus's/trojans etc.
It's funny how the IRAA is making more people informed that are maybe considering pirating music/movies/software.
Just the opposite of what they want.
