RADA This is kinda like communism...

... looks great on paper, or in a lab.

Been on enough flights to say I think this would fail miserably with the first real-life run.

    IE: Businessman/Flying Diva with JUMBO-Sized carry-on he/she won't check in...

Mother with 3 kids (all with backpacks)

    ETC...

rapture I don't know what it is about flying and people acting like selfish idiots, I couldn't be a flight attendant.

Problem with loading planes is you often have a single entry point and passengers with too much junk to carry on. 18 minutes in an airport should tell you that, 18 months in a lab as RADA said is not the same.
  3. Harudath
Harudath the time will even itself out, more doors for people to get on, longer speech from the air hostess...

"Exit points are here, and here, and here, and here, and there, and around there, and over there, and here too, and to the left, and to the right, two on the roof, and over there and over there...."
  4. mmonnin
mmonnin Jesus just board the people in the back of the plane 1st so everyone can get on at once. The people in the front hold everyone else up when putting their crap away.
  5. airbornflght
airbornflght I've never flown before, but I'm heading to Washington D.C. right before spring break for a leadership academy. All I plan on taking is my backpack with tablet. What else could you possibly need to carry on? Good lord, it's not like you're gonna be there for more than two or three hours.

Heh, not true at all but still, that's no excuse. A lot of the time return trips are the worst. Holiday makers bringing back way too much crap and not wanting to pay for the extra weight in their cases.
  7. mmonnin
mmonnin I just flew to Chicago and I was surprised at how much people bring on. Some have like 2 bags plus the maximum size luggage that is allowed in the on-board storrage.

Howdy, Stranger!
