17 Jan 2008 ~ 9:23am Linc *sigh* To me, it told the story of an older couple eating at their local BK partaking in their cute lunch date routine.

Two senior sodas, so it was two elderly people. It was lunch. They ate in. They each had a Whopper Jr. They shared a small fry. They ate at the restaurant. They gave exact change (including 4 pennies), so they probably knew what it cost and do it often.

It's the little things.

They probably loathe each other and just do their "little lunch routine" because they don't know of a way out of their endless cycle of waking and sleeping and suffering. Secretly, she wishes she had had the strength when she was younger to pursue her dreams, but her parents refused to let her attend college. He used to drink when he was younger but since the "liver scare" 20 years ago, he stopped. He is bitter because she passively took out all her anger and aggression on him throughout their marriage and also feels that she never really loved him.

Anyways, that's just as likely as your story.
