  1. Zuntar
    Zuntar friggin SWEET case!!
  2. Thrax
Thrax I think Thermaltake's heinously-bogus Xaser cases have finally met their match.

//edit: Yes, Thinkcomputers, $1000 for a case is outrageous.
  3. RADA
RADA $1K for this case.... *sigh:(

....$1500 for the latest Maximum PC "Dream Machine" case alone... (*whole DM system cost over $17K!!)

My first two builds were the built with the fastest and latest technology for the time, the next two, were almost the fastest/latest, the last one was already long in the tooth before I even fired it up...

at this rate, my next build will be an abacus with a tribal flame case wrap.... :(

Yet another reason I've drifted away from PC building/overclocking...

The price points even for medium-quality kit can't compete with buying a premade system from whomever, with a warranty, and no RMA hassles for bad parts.. IMHO the technology is evolving too fast for a budget PC builder like myself to keep up.. I used to search out the mobo I wanted, buy it, wait a month or two, then buy the video card & Proc, then the memory, etc... It could take a year to finish buying all the parts.. High end (not the best, but close) parts are too pricey to do this any more.. At today's prices, it would take me two years or more to save enough discretionary income to buy each part to build a new system (I budgeted it out last weekend). By then my "NEW" machine is a dinosaur, where upgrade/replacement parts are already yesterday's news....

Yes, I could lower my standards for the system I want with slower, more basic parts, but to me that would like me going into a Ford dealer to buy a Shelby GT500, and driving out in a basic V6 Mustang.. Yeah it runs, but it isn't he same..

Guess I'll stick to console gaming for the near future...
  4. UPSLynx
UPSLynx Outrageous price... and I really don't like the look of it. It's not just the paint job, it's the case styling itself.

Nope, definitely wouldn't buy this one.

BUT! It comes with a t-shirt and certificate of authenticity. That justifies the price, right?

Man, even the Falcon Northwest prebuilts that had a literal Ferarri level paint job didn't run that much for the chassis.

Howdy, Stranger!
