GTA 4 is out today

GTA 4 is out today and expected to out-sell Halo 3. Shortly after, expect news stories reporting shocked, outraged parents. sigh

29 Apr 2008 ~ 12:46pm FormFactor What a great game. I have had the opportunity to play it all weekend and am completely hooked. Unbelievable graphics, game play, etc. I haven't even tried multi play yet.

This is definitely one of the few games that are worth every penny of it's $60 price tag!

29 Apr 2008 ~ 1:01pm Zanthian I picked up my copy and have to wait until I get home to play. I am glad it is on the Xbox... It will have solid multiplayer content.
29 Apr 2008 ~ 1:05pm BuddyJ Multiplayer is my biggest interest in it. With the large maps, and a race mode for point-to-point travel with all world weapons/vehicles, it'd be a blast!
29 Apr 2008 ~ 1:29pm airbornflght They won't release it for pc, if at all, for at least 6 months. Its so easy to pirate on the pc, I can kind of see it. Just has me wishing I had a PS3. Between GTA3, MGS4, and some other games from my childhood I might have to take the plunge if I get some extra cash.

its very easy to pirate in general its been out on the internet for about a week and a half for xbox 360.

Ok, well it is easiER to pirate on the PC. Mostly because the average Joe usually isn't brave enough to use mod chips in their very expensive Xboxes.

30 Apr 2008 ~ 10:39am Zanthian Oh, the fun. This morning while waiting for my ride to pick me up, I loaded the game and preceded to get into a fire fight with like 20 cops. I think I got 10 of them before they killed my character.

30 Apr 2008 ~ 11:00am Zanthian Soo much better. You hold down the left trigger and it locks you onto your target and shows you a radial life bar. Then you can fire with the right trigger. You can also half hold the right to free aim. You can also use almost anything for cover. This allows you to fire over or around objects. Fist fighting also is more interesting, you have two type of punches and a kick option. You can also try to block.

don't need a modchip for the 360 just reflash your dvd drive firmware and thats it only takes like 10 mins.
30 Apr 2008 ~ 4:42pm GnomeQueen My boyfriend is RAVING about how fantastic this game this. There's ridiculous amounts of crap you can do inside the game- heck, you can even go to the theater and watch plays. I'm mostly excited for the hooker army part myself.

1 May 2008 ~ 9:11am Zanthian I got into some multiplayer last night and omg it brings back the GTA2 days for me.
Some serious win in this game.
1 May 2008 ~ 9:19am FormFactor Yes I too played multi player the other night, and despite some of the MP game modes being very unbalanced IMO, what a great time. All you could hear was 16 kids laughing hysterically in their mics at my TERRIBLE driving abilities. Ive never heard so much laughter on xbox live. It really is a lot of fun and adds a lot of value to an already near perfect single player experience.
