If geeks love it, we’re on it

If you use IE, you'll never see this webpage

Hey Internet Explorer users! This is a link you’ll never be able to access with your current browser. Isn’t that a pity?

Harudath When people have nothing to do they really do alot of it.

EDIT: Glad I have firefox too :P
  2. GnomeQueen
GnomeQueen Now that was mean. I'm on a school computer, I had to use IE.

Harudath Oooh I've had SO much fun with school computers :D We have a shared folder which everyone can access/edit. I created a little web page that when opened opened a little error message saying "You're completely screwed now" popped up. Every time you clicked OK, Cancel, or the X, the window opened another 778 popups, each would open another 778 popups. Good times... good times :P

GnomeQueen Oh, that's clever! I would do that...if, you know, I had ANY idea of how to do that.

Harudath I've got it on a disk somwhere, remind me to look for it tomorrow for ya- it's late here now :S Everyone's asleep so I can't go crashing through all my CDs :P

EDIT: If task manager has been disabled like it has at my school, then the only way to stop it is by turning the computer off at the switch :P Any way other than task manager, command prompt or the off button (perhaps there's another way but someone stupid enough to be caught by one of these won't know what to do anyway :P). If you have task manager you can test it on yourself :P But use with caution- it's just an HTML script, not a virus or anything, just an annoying little page :P

mas0n for the record, My IE7 does not crash on that page... it just stops abruptly after "why not switch to a"

I use FF anyway, just sayin...

EDIT: loaded up the 32-bit IE out of curiosity and that page kills it instantly. My first test was with the 64-bit IE7 which is the only IE I use when I have to use IE, and it does just fine, or at least doesn't die instantly. (it doesn't display the second line of text though)
  7. Your-Amish-Daddy
Your-Amish-Daddy I wonder why that doesn't affect Firefox...But yet IE can load pages that Firefox can't because they're too long.

Firefox ignores bad code, IE trys to render it.

edit: Its the same reason some pages dont work right in firefox, the web programmer was incompetent so firefox ignores most of the code.

Zuntar Love it!! Me no like IE.;)

Harudath Hehe, was looking around in my old CDs, I finally found my stuff :P I made so many versions of that webpage, I forgot about them :D You get kicked from the IT rooms if they catch you on games- I called the webpage "David Beckham throwing up on a man"- when people clicked on it it opened a very well known games page with a message saying "lol you're screwed now- and you shouldn't be playing on games". Each time you closed a message it opened another games window with more popups :D I had so much fun- if for any reason you want to see it PM me :P

EDIT: Also made an shutdown shortcut and called it a well known game- sitting in the IT room with 20 confused, annoyed idiots is so damn beautiful :D
