   Didn't read the article, but from someone with 16 years in the IT industry, I'd say its because there is too much to remember/do for the "Joe Average" consumer.
   
   Most people can barely use the computer on their office desk, they don't want to go home and mess with another system just to watch American Idol or Survivor....
   
   Sometimes, I can't say I blame them, I didn't touch a computer this past weekend untill very late Sunday night.. I was kind of nice....
