3G Studios, the developer of several fitness games and collaborators on the original Rock Band game, today announced that they are developing a fist-person shooter that will play through Facebook.
The new game, entitled Brave Arms, will allow players to create avatars, arm them with in-game funds and team up with their friends in a team-based deathmatch mode. No information has yet been released as to whether the game will utilize Flash, Java or another runtime.
“Our new title, Brave Arms, will bring First-Person Shooter games to the masses,” said James Kosta, 3G Studios’ Chief Executive Officer. “It’s about fast-paced action and either competing against or forming teams with your friends. We want people to feel empowered and to share in a real video game experience.”
