You probably read that title and assumed said song involves the confession of one man’s love to a woman while introducing Street Fighter elements to up the nerd ante. You would be wrong, but you’re close. And you know what they say: close only counts in horseshoes and shock combos.
This is a song by a man confessing his love. Not for a young woman, but for a video game. That game is Street Fighter IV, and this song brings a tear to my eye. I’m not sure yet if that tear is from the beauty of his words or if it’s from laughter. Perhaps it’s pity. I can’t decide, I’m just frustrated that my vision is now blurry and I’m struggling to type.
