Sega and Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming RPG spy thriller Alpha Protocol is now ready and in mass production. The espionage-RPG is slated for a June 1 release in North America, with an European release just days before on May 28. Both releases will be multi-platform, available on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

Alpha Protocol looks like a mix between Splinter Cell and Deus Ex, with a dash of Metal Gear Solid. The game focuses on a triad of role-playing decisions, stealth, and plenty of gun-toting action. Throughout your missions you will be confronted with several choices that will affect future outcomes. Such multi-path encounters will bring a great sense of replayability.

Alpha Protocol introduces a style of gameplay that Sega is dubbing the Dynamic Stance System, or DSS for short. It allows you to answer to choices by choosing a body stance instead of a direct answer. Quick thinking is vital, as the consequences for the player’s choices affects the relationships of the characters as well as the plot itself.

Bandrik Saw this video right after playing through all of Splinter Cell: Conviction. And I'll tell you what, I'm rather pumped to give this game a go as well. Looks pretty sweet.
