The Fusion technology, a GPU and CPU on a chip, was announced last year as the future of AMD’s budget enterprise. Boasting (What we presume to be) an Phenom-derived CPU and an ATi XENOS GPU on a single package, in separate dies, video and CPU performance could be delivered for much less than the cost of an on-mobo GPU. The technology is slowly taking form, and can be seen here.
