Apple drops iPhone NDA

Apple drops iPhone NDA

Apple announced today that it will drop its non-disclosure clause on iPhone developers (announcement). For months, developers on the popular mobile platform have been prohibited from publicly discussing any information related to iPhone programming (not even for debugging help). Understandably, this raised quite a bit of ire (NSFW – language) and caused several to question whether they would continue to work on the platform. It also caused at least one book to be cancelled due to speculation as to whether the NDA would ever be lifted.

Snarkasm Unfortunately it's only dropped for apps that have been accepted and published - if you got rejected or just haven't finished it yet, you still better clam up, and fast.
