I have a friend who got a 5850 and got this issue too... Seems to be annoying as hell.

I've read on the net that its somewhat maybe a video card driver issue OR something that could be related to a problem that could be fix with a bios update for GIGABYTE UD4 Owner (he is)...

Problem is I don't want to make him flash his bios to the lastest version on his own but i wont see him anytime soon so for now he just endure this problem.

To date no driver update helped and this new one doesnt tell anything about correcting this kind of problem, but i would realy like to tell him a driver release would solve this probleme someday and that he could forget about what i said about 'flashing the bios could help' lol

Thrax The very first sentence on the hotfix page reads: "Hotfix that resolves the mouse being enlarged under Windows® 7."

  7. thymian One of my friend told me that it runs fantastic on her GTX 295, just like it did on my GTX 285. But it does sound like you are not getting enough power somewhere. Does this happen when the system is on heavy load? Have you tried stress testing with with Sandra Lite 2010 or something similar?
