Capcom today announced that the long lost predecessor to their new game Dark Void is available for download on Nintendo’s DSiWare service.
Dark Void Zero, developed as an 8-bit prequel to Dark Void, is being marketed as though it were a re-release of the title from the 8-bit console era. The slick, retro-styled game takes place in the same game world as Dark Void, and puts players in control of Rusty, the first human born in The Void. Players can use Nikolai Tesla’s jetpack to traverse three 2D platformer levels, and defeat the bosses at the ends.
The game contains about two hours of gameplay, and will run you 500 points ($5) on the DSiWare channel. Capcom plans to release the small game to PC and iPhone in the coming weeks.
