CoolIT, maker of some pretty decent water cooling solutions, recently showed off their latest and greatest water cooling kits in combination with AMD’s current latest and greatest components.
The demonstration system consisted of a Phenom II x6 1090T cooled by an A.L.C. Vantage and two Radeon 5970s in Crossfire each cooled by an Omni A.L.C. Using these components, the Phenom II x6 1090T was pushed from its stock 3.2GHz all the way to 4.17GHz. More impressive is the overclock to the dual Radeon 5970s; both cards were pushed from a stock 725/1000MHz (core/RAM) to a full 1.0/1.2GHz.
At stock speeds, the system scored 19,734 overall in 3DMark Vantage. Overclocked, the beast of a system managed to improve by 25% to a score of 25,869.

Unlike most demonstration systems which show off products either still in development or “soon to be released” stages, this system was built using currently available parts. All of the CoolIT products used in the build may currently be purchased directly from CoolIT’s web site, and will soon be carried by Newegg as well.
