It's always interesting to see the mix of costumes inspired by what's new, alongside the classic costumes that we see over and over again at any event and conference.
I don't think I've ever seen as much GIJoe cosplay, and L4D cosplay is certainly new.
I'm glad that the number of Ledger Jokers is starting to taper off.
It would be interesting to know what inspired an influx of silver-era Batman costumes.

Snark, that is impressive. But don't they know to use mols on tanks not pipes? Good detail with the blood on Zoey's shoes.
SO HOT, but weird, but... HOT. But weird. (but hot... and weird).
This.
I want to go to comiccon or some con where this is normal, and just walk among these people. It is impressive to see, in a strange, alluring yet sometimes creepy kind of way.
The cons that I main (E3/SIGGRAPH) don't have much cosplay participation outside of vendor efforts.

That's really interesting. Some of the costumes are so good! It's odd, there were way more people there being Silk Spectre I than Silk Spectre II. I wouldn't have pegged that.
Also...one of the girls in a Silk Spectre costume scared me a little...must lose weight faster, blahhh *throws all her food out the window*
