Crysis, now with 100% more McFly

People often ask me why I prefer PC gaming over console gaming: Why would I want to deal with the expensive upgrades, hardware issues, absurd DRM, titles limited by their console counterparts, and other such frustrations?

I have found, with a single video, one of the greatest reasons why:

The pure creativity involved in making a Back to the Future mod for Crysis is outstanding. It’s as if Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan and told the modder that if he didn’t make a Back to the Future mod, he’d melt his brain (Ed: What).

The detail in this mod is incredible. Everything about the DeLorean and its time-traveling shenanigans has been painstakingly recreated.

Is there much use for a mod like this? No, not really. But the charm and sheer film-nerdery of it all is more than worth the download. You can find the mod on its CryMod page and try it yourself today.

Now, who is going to step up and make the obligatory BttF Hoverboard mod? Just don’t forget: Hoverboards don’t work on water, unless you’ve got POWAH.
