Today Paradox released screenshots and an in-game trailer for their upcoming tower defense game Defenders of Ardania. Since tower defense seems to be such a hot genre right now, you may be interested in following the development of this one.
In Defenders of Ardania, you take on the role of either attackers or defenders; upgrading your towers and player abilities to crush the opponent. There are both single- and multi-player modes, and the game offers both PvP and co-op play. From the website:
- An intriguing new take on the massively popular tower defense genre: players lead both offensive and defensive operations
- Ardania: the world of Majesty with three playable races and their unique environments
- Defense: 24 different upgradeable towers to erect against the invading enemy
