Direct2Drive turns 5, basically gives games away

Icrontic community member Sir Candle pointed me to this awesome deal. Digital download vendor Direct2Drive is celebrating their fifth anniversary by offering several titles for $5 each.

The current group consists of Neverwinter Nights 2, Assassin’s Creed Director’s Cut, Titan Quest, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and more. Each week they’ll be changing up the list.

While some of the titles are the same that you’d find in the bargain bin at your local office supply store, some of them are still current games that are definitely worth picking up for $5 if you happened to miss them.

Yes, they'll be getting more of my money this weekend.

It's not a very fast moving game (in fact, it's rather slow) but it's a very artistic and extremely well done take on Little Red Riding Hood. I really enjoyed the fact that the only way to "lose" the game is to do what you're told to.
