EA Sports getting a new franchise for 2010

A recent Tweet from an EA Sports Community Manager revealed that EA Sports fans can look forward to a new title for the 2010 lineup. Speculation has been running high, with most signs pointing to a possible WWE franchise title now that THQ’s license has expired.

What would look different with an EA Sports-backed WWE title? Certainly EA has enormous licensing clout, and the technical capability to pull off extremely accurate real person modeling and motion capture. An EA WWE game could be expected to be the state of the art.

10 Dec 2009 ~ 1:36pm kryyst It'd be interesting to see what they do with a WWE game. Making a more technical wrestling game, control wise could be very interesting. What I am looking forward to though is a UFC 2010, 2009 was pretty good for a first try but it coulld certainly use some revamping in a few areas least of which was the AI.
