In honor of the upcoming “Sugar” Shane and “Money” Mayweather fight tonight, EA Sports has put together a new online boxing tournament. Beginning Monday, May 3rd, Fight Night: Round 4 gamers will have the opportunity to compete in The People’s Champion Tournament.
PS3/XBox360 gamers can register and begin fighting with their favorite heavyweight boxer online to move up the leaderboard during an initial two week qualifying period. When the dust settles, EA will select the top 4 fighters on each console, seed them, and match them up for the semi-final. Survive that and you’re one step closer to winning an EA Sports prize pack consisting of five ’10 EA Sports titles and an invite to fight the reigning US World Champion.
So hurry up and dust off your copies of EA’s reigning champ of boxing.
