A Japanese couple from Tokyo is suing for ¥2m / $16,700 / €12,000 to cover the damages of their Sony notebook bursting into flames inside their home. The suit was filed in the Osaka District Court, and is the first lawsuit throughout the entire battery recall process.
According Japanese broadcaster NHK (They own the Domo-Kun), the husband of the couple suffered burns on his fingers when the laptop ignited.
