What a strange and interesting glut of doodads we have today. Our front-runner is a real winner!

  • If your home audio system is missing that airy airiness that you’ve been craving, maybe the 1.5m BLACK MAGIC audio LAN cable is your cup of tea. At $1070, you know it has to be a product capable of summoning the departed spirits of passed artists directly into your living room.
  • NVIDIA drops a massive bomb in the form of the Quadro FX 5800. Boasting 240 CUDA-programmable cores and 4GB of VRAM, the unit is being pegged for research and massively parallel number crunching. Word on the street is that it can divide by zero.
  • While most networking equipment is best banished to some dark corner of your desk, this Virgin Media cable modem is totally lickable. It can also do 50Mbps thanks to its DOCSIS 3.0 heart.
  • From the “if you have to ask, you can’t afford it” department comes this delicious 23″ Dell LCD. It boasts a wild 2048×1152 resolution, 80000:1 dynamic (read: marketing) contrast ratio, 2ms response time and 98% NTSC gamut representation.
  • We’re not really sure what’s being sold with this clothespin. I wasn’t looking at the clothespin.
  • This is the single most badass flashlight to have ever been invented in the history forever.
