Google to detail Chrome OS during Thursday demonstration

chromecolour3.jpgGoogle’s Chrome OS isn’t coming out till next year, but they’ll be officially demonstrating it to the public as early as this Thursday.

The event will be held at Google’s Mountain View, CA headquarters, and will be accompanied by a raft of technical information. The firm claims that there will be a “complete overview” of the entire OS, as well as details about the launch.

Sundar Pichai, Google’s VP of Product Management and Matthew Papakipos, Google Engineering Director for Google Chrome OS will be giving speeches at the event, and will be holding a Q&A session immediately following the initial presentation.

Not much is yet known about Chrome OS except that it’s supposed to be lightweight and easy to use. While Thursday’s event should tidily clean up any loose ends, you can read our speculation on the product in the interim.
