It’s no secret that Google wants to dominate Microsoft’s market share and is attempting to erode it by providing free services over the web. One more feather in that cap comes to Google Docs with the addition of a thesaurus and automatic table of contents generation.
The thesaurus is backed by the power of Merriam-Webster and the Encyclopedia Britannica. Users of Google Docs now have access to a complete suite of alternative words and their proper definitions and meanings. Rounding out the profile is automatic table of contents generation based on title lines throughout the document.
