Khaos This is the kit I have. The memory is fantastic. That review by TweakTown is pretty lackluster with respect to overclocking.

The Pi Black kit is CL8 memory. It runs at 1600Mhz at CL8 just fine. Why they would drop it to CL9 just to hit 1700Mhz is beyond me.

I haven't played with the memory very much at this point, but I noticed markedly better synthetic performance when clocking the memory down. It runs 1368Mhz (And probably higher, but I was CPU limited with the stock i7 air cooler) at CL7 and 1216Mhz at CL6, which offers lower latency and subjectively snappier performance than CL9.
