Happy (now official) Pi Day

Happy (now official) Pi Day

The US House of Representatives passed a resolution declaring March 14, 2009 (3.14) to be National Pi Day. It encourages schools to engage students “about the study of mathematics” and Pi in particular. How they will do this on a Saturday I do not know. Somehow, it received bipartisan support.

To observe this holiday here at ICHQ, I will teach Brian’s kids all about Pi. The kind with apples and cinnamon.
