NASA is fixin’ to put Node 3 of the International Space Station in the sky, but the shiny doodad does not yet have a name. The agency is calling on the power of the people to remedy the quandary with yonder poll.
From the stock suggestions, “Serenity” is in a right commanding lead with 86% of the popular vote. As much as we love us some Browncoats, Icrontic feels obligated to announce its Vote for Millennium Falcon campaign.
That’s right, boys and girls, we’re looking to put the name of Han Solo’s bomb-diggity YT-1300 in orbit around this here earth. Imagine the fun we could have! We could make jokes about the Battle for Yavin, Sabacc, Bespin, Lando Calrissian and certain walking carpets!
So, please join us in voting for Millennium Falcon once per day until March 20. Maybe we we’ll win, maybe we won’t. We’re just in it for the riches, anyhow.
