TQ Digital today announced that Heroes of Might and Magic Online (HMMO) is being developed for the PC under the Ubisoft banner. The closed beta phase will begin next month. There is yet no word on a final release date.
HMMO will be a massively multiplayer, turn-based strategy game, the first game ever to claim this genre, and the first AAA title to attempt an MMO with turn-based elements. The game will be taking its gameplay cues mostly from Heroes of Might and Magic III, while the graphics will resemble Heroes of Might and Magic V.
