The Humble Indie Bundle has become a big success. With over 100,000 contributors and breaching the $1 million mark, gamers around the world are enjoying the “pay what you want”, DRM-free offering of five games… that has just become six.

Yes, a sixth game has joined the Humble Bundle: Samorost 2 from Amanita Design. The people responsible for the Humble Bundle had a discussion with Amanita Design, who offered to donate copies of their game to everyone that chips in to get the Humble Bundle. Those that have already purchased the Bundle can go to the website to download their gift copy of Samorost 2.

The actual statistics of how much has been contributed so far has been mind-blowing. As of this writing, exactly $1,088,933 has been ponied up by 119,577 gamers. The top three contributors pitched in $3333.33, $1337.00, and $1000.00 respectively, showing that nerds do indeed possess both money and compassion. These stats are all available on the Humble Bundle’s main page, and are displayed in real-time.

ardichoke Glad to see it's doing so well. I sprang for it the other day. Then I downloaded World of Goo and was disappointed to find that it force closes every time I try to launch it on Windows 7. I'm quite disappointed.
  2. Mackin Yeah great to see it doing so well. Can't believe they raised so much! $3333.33 is a good price!

Koreish I wish this nerd had that kind of scratch. I'm glad to see this is doing so well. Do you know how the money has been divided?
