Icrontian makes the Saxton Hale stamp

Icrontian Quady the Turnip saw an opportunity; something that had never been done before. Like any good Icrontian, he moved when he was inspired.

When Valve posted a blog entry and a fake letter with the rubber stamped “This just got signed by SAXTON HALE”, Quady was moved; When a Reddit member offered $50 to the first person to deliver a rubber stamp that could duplicate such, Quady switched into high gear.

The result?

To top off the lulz, Quady was going to send an email to Robin Walker, project lead for TF2. He started off the email with the subject, “I hope”

He jumped the gun a bit, and accidentally hit send, with no body, and only the subject “I hope.”

He got a reply from Robin that said, simply:

“Me too.”

A motivated Icrontian can move mountains. Never let it be said otherwise.

29 Sep 2009 ~ 12:38am QuadyTheTurnip Also, Robin isn't just a PR guy for Valve, he's the Project Lead for TF2 (He was one of the three guys who made the original Team Fortress back in the Quake days). As the first news-site to post this, you should get your reporting up to snuff! :P
