The prowess of the P35 and P45 chipsets can be seen in every enthusiast forum on the internet. Boards like Gigabyte’s P35-DQ6, DFI’s DK P35-T2R/S and the Asus P5K-E proved that Intel’s X38 and X48 just didn’t have quite the same voodoo. If you’re thinking “truth,” you will probably be disappointed to learn that the X58-derived Intel P55 chipset has been delayed until some time after July.
Reasons for the delay include oversupply of existing chipsets and the awful bad credit market, as if either was a surprise.
