The Internet wants to see your breasts

The Internet wants to see your breasts

Rethink, a Canada-based charity for young women, focused on the prevention of breast cancer, feels that young women are not paying enough attention to their breasts, and are thusly putting themselves at higher risk for breast cancer later in life.

Rethink’s project ‘Boobywall‘ encourages women of all ages and background to post pictures of their brests (with or without clothes) to the site. The idea is to cre3ate a community of women who are more willing to do what needs to be done for breast health, and who may be more open to discussion with others, including breast cancer survivors, some of whom have posted pictures of their visible mastectomies.

The organization is not concerned about men using the site to get free peeks at young breasts, as the health it may promote in young women is much more important than hiding breast away. Which, after all, seems to be the primary message of the project.
